Oil Orifice — Intake Rocker Shaft
This oil orifice installs in the cylinder head and meters oil flow through the intake rocker shaft. It’s a calibrated restriction used to control top-end oiling, helping maintain proper lubrication where it’s needed while managing oil volume and pressure within the valvetrain.
During head service, rocker shaft work, or engine rebuilds, this orifice can be lost, damaged, or clogged. Ensuring the correct orifice is installed is critical for proper oil distribution and long-term valvetrain reliability.
