B-Series Cam Cap Bolt
This flange bolt secures the camshaft bearing caps to the cylinder head on Honda B-series engines. Cam cap bolts are torqued in a specific sequence and to precise values — they directly determine camshaft preload, bearing clearance, and proper VTEC rocker operation. Using the correct bolt ensures consistent clamping across all cap positions and prevents distortion of the head surface or cam journals over time.
These are commonly replaced during head rebuilds, camshaft swaps, or any time a bolt has been overtorqued, stretched, or shows thread damage. Six are required per head.
Manufactured to Honda factory specifications for thread engagement, shank length, and flange geometry.
