10x12mm Cam Cap Dowel Pin
Hollow steel dowel pin, 10mm diameter by 12mm long. Locates the camshaft caps (holders) on the cylinder head so each cap returns to its exact machined position, keeping cam journal alignment and bearing clearance correct. These are often lost or left stuck in the caps or head during teardown, and damaged pins can prevent the caps from seating properly. Replace any that are mushroomed, corroded or missing when servicing the valve train.
