A genuine Amphenol Radlok 10mm press-lock power connector in black. Crimps directly onto 70mm² (3/0 to 2/0 AWG) copper wire using a hex hydraulic crimper. The bare conductor of typical fine-stranded 70mm² cable measures close to 10.5mm, which you can verify with a caliper before crimping. Rated at 250A continuous, this is the mid-tier cable size in the 10mm system, sitting between the 50mm² entry point and the 95mm² maximum.
Wire run length matters. The longer the cable between your battery and its destination, the more resistance builds in the circuit, and with resistance comes heat and voltage drop, which effectively increases the current demand on the wire. Stepping from 50mm² to 70mm² on the same 10mm pin buys meaningful headroom for longer relocated runs or higher sustained loads. If your build pulls harder still, the 10mm system tops out at 95mm² (300A) on the same connector, so there is one more step of capacity available without leaving the platform.
Crimping this connector requires a hex hydraulic crimper, available on Amazon or similar. No special tools beyond that. Once crimped, the connector presses onto any compatible 10mm Radlok stud and locks in place with a single finger. No exposed terminals, no loose hardware, and a connection that stays put regardless of vibration.
