Carbing Front Strut Tower Bar – Aluminum Type II (3-Point)
The Carbing Front Strut Tower Bar Type II is a lightweight, high-rigidity chassis reinforcement designed to improve front-end stability, steering precision, and suspension consistency under load. Manufactured in Japan, this 3-point aluminum strut bar connects both front strut towers while adding a third mounting point to reduce chassis flex at the firewall area.
Compared to conventional 2-point strut bars, the Type II design offers increased torsional rigidity by stabilizing both the strut towers and the bulkhead. This results in more immediate steering response, improved turn-in, and clearer front-end feedback, particularly on performance-oriented setups with upgraded suspension, tires, and braking systems. The aluminum construction balances high stiffness with reduced weight, minimizing added mass over the front axle while delivering meaningful structural reinforcement for spirited street driving and track use.

Steering configuration note
This strut bar is designed for RHD (Right-Hand Drive) Integra Type R models. Fitment on LHD (Left-Hand Drive) vehicles is not officially supported and may require modification or may not be feasible due to brake booster and firewall clearance.
Civic compatibility note
While some builders have adapted this strut bar for use on Civic chassis, it is not a direct bolt-on for Civics. Installation on Civic platforms may require custom fabrication, spacing, or clearance work depending on chassis and engine bay layout. Civic fitment should be considered a custom application and is not guaranteed.
