ARP Main Stud Kit – B16A VTEC
Strengthen the bottom end of your Honda B-series engine with the ARP Main Stud Kit for B16A VTEC. Designed for performance and reliability, this kit replaces the factory main bolts with high-strength studs that improve clamping force and alignment between the main caps and engine block — a critical upgrade for high-rpm or boosted builds.
Each stud is made from premium 8740 chrome-moly steel and heat-treated to a tensile strength of approximately 190,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treatment for maximum fatigue resistance, while the kit’s hardened washers and 12-point nuts ensure even torque and consistent bearing crush during assembly.
