Spoon Sports – Magnetic Drain Bolt Set – 92-00 Civic/94-01 Integra
Every drain bolt sees the same debris: fine metal particles shed by gears, bearings, and synchros as they wear in and wear down. Standard bolts let that material circulate freely through the oil until the next change. Spoon’s magnetic drain bolts capture it instead, pulling ferrous particles out of suspension and holding them at the plug where they belong.
The set covers the engine and transmission drain points, and the magnet does double duty as a diagnostic tool — checking the bolt at each oil change tells you how the internals are wearing. A light film of paste is normal. Chunks or shavings are an early warning you’d otherwise miss until something let go.
Machined to factory thread specs for a proper seal, these thread into the OEM drain locations with no modification. A simple piece of insurance for anyone who intends to keep a B-series or D-series running hard for the long haul.
