Factory subframe mounting hardware leaves a deliberate gap between the bolt and the chassis bolt hole. That clearance exists to make assembly easier on the production line, but it also means the subframe can shift within that tolerance the moment the car is built — and every time it’s unbolted and torqued back down afterward.
Spoon’s Rigid Collars eliminate that gap. Each collar is precision-machined to fill the space between the mounting bolt and the subframe hole, locating the subframe to the exact same position the chassis was designed around. The result is tighter, more consistent contact between subframe and body, sharper steering response, and a chassis that behaves the way the engineers intended rather than the way the assembly line allowed.
