A genuine Amphenol Radlok 10mm press-lock power connector in black. Crimps directly onto 50mm² (1/0 to 1 AWG) copper wire using a hex hydraulic crimper. The bare conductor of typical fine-stranded 50mm² cable measures close to 9mm, which you can verify with a caliper before crimping. Rated at 200A continuous, this is the entry cable size for the 10mm system, the connector you step up to when the 8mm system runs out of headroom for the current your build demands.

Wire run length matters. The longer the cable between your battery and its destination, the more resistance builds in the circuit, and with resistance comes heat and voltage drop, which effectively increases the current demand on the wire. A 50mm² conductor on a 10mm pin gives you real margin on the runs that leave the smaller systems working hard. If your loads climb or your runs get longer still, the 10mm system also accepts 70mm² (250A) and 95mm² (300A) on the same connector, so you gain capacity without leaving the platform.

Crimping this connector requires a hex hydraulic crimper, available on Amazon or similar. No special tools beyond that. Once crimped, the connector presses onto any compatible 10mm Radlok stud and locks in place with a single finger. No exposed terminals, no loose hardware, and a connection that stays put regardless of vibration.
