3M Trizact 02087 – 3″ P3000 Hookit Foam Disc
The 3M Trizact P3000 foam disc is designed to refine 2000 grit sanding marks and prepare the surface for final polishing. The foam backing helps the disc conform to body lines and reduces the chance of burn-through. Ideal for blending and smoothing after cutting steps, especially in paint correction or refinishing work.
P3000 grit – blends out 2000 grit scratches
Hookit backing for quick attachment and removal
Foam backing for even pressure and reduced loading
Best used with a soft interface pad and dual action sander
For use on clear coat, paint, and primer
Designed for damp sanding, not dry
How to use:
Follow after sanding with a 2000 grit disc. Lightly mist the panel and disc with water, then use this 3000 grit disc to further refine the surface. Keep the disc damp while sanding. Follow up with 3M Trizact 5000 or go directly to compound depending on finish requirements.
