3M Scotch‑Brite™ Durable Flex Hand Pad – 07848
Premium nonwoven hand pad designed for flexible surface scuffing and light abrasive work on painted or plastic surfaces. This Grey ultra-fine pad blends smoothly, removing contaminants and preparing satin or glossy finishes before final polishing.

We select the 07848 pad when mechanical scuffing or contour smoothing is needed without using traditional sandpaper. The flexible nonwoven material resists loading and tearing, and conforms to curves and compound shapes—ideal for prep work around raised details or recessed trim.

Common uses include:

• Hand blending around moldings or recessed edges ahead of painting

• Scuffing clear coat to promote adhesion of polish or polish coatings

• Pre-paint cleaning and surface prep before applying scuff-sensitive finishes

This pad works wet or dry and is reusable. It outlasts steel wool, paper abrasives, or standard scuff pads because it resists fraying and can be rinsed and reused.
