A genuine Amphenol Radlok 5.7mm press-lock power connector in red. Crimps directly onto 4–6 AWG copper wire using a hex hydraulic crimper — the bare conductor of a 6 AWG wire measures approximately 4mm in diameter, which you can verify with a caliper before crimping. Wire run length matters. The longer the cable between your battery and its destination, the more resistance builds in the circuit — and with resistance comes heat and voltage drop, which effectively increases the current demand on the wire. If your battery is relocated significantly from the factory position, moving up to the Radlok 8mm system rated for 2 AWG is the appropriate solution to handle the increased load safely.

Crimping this connector requires a hex hydraulic crimper, available on Amazon or similar. No special tools beyond that — once crimped, the connector presses onto any compatible 5.7mm Radlok stud and locks in place with a single finger.
