3M Hookit™ Soft Interface Pad – 6″ (05777)
Foam interface pad designed to provide cushion and control when using finishing discs on dual-action sanders. The 3M 05777 interface pad is placed between the backup pad and abrasive disc, helping the disc conform to curved or uneven surfaces while reducing pressure points and edge-cutting.
We use this pad with 2000, 3000, and 5000 grit discs to maintain even contact during the final sanding stages before polishing. It improves consistency, reduces the chance of burn-through, and helps minimize swirl—especially when working on contours or edges.
Hook-and-loop attachment allows quick changes between grits or systems. For use with 6″ Hookit™ backup pads and finishing discs.
